3 pillars of Let ’s Enterprise
3 pillars of
Let ’s Enterprise
Our programs at Let’s Enterprise, bring together 3 pillars required to create a life of success and happiness.
Education
The knowledge we need to understand the world around us.
Introduction to business concepts and tools
Experience
The skills, confidence and mindsets we need to contribute to the world
Application on hands-on challenges & projects
Awareness
The insight, wisdom and care we need, to align ourselves and the world
Reflection, clarity of business objectives, asking questions
India is surely moving confidently into the 21st century, and all eyes around the globe are zooming in to participate in our growth into a 5 trillion economy. This growth is led by change-makers who are entrepreneurial-minded leaders in social, business and political sectors. To sustain and accelerate this growth in a manner that creates not just wealth, but also a happy, joyful and sustainable society, a new kind of work and life readiness which includes a sense of self-awareness is needed. How can youth build the competencies that Indian industry leaders believe are vital for them (the youth) in becoming work-life ready? This is a question that we ask ourselves while designing the curriculum at Let’s Enterprise.
One of the ways in which student partners at Let’s Enterprise have been building competencies needed for the 21st century, is by building their body of work. Instead of using academic progress and mark sheets as metrics of professional progress they, learn to develop grit, stick to resolutions, and create unique stories that define who they are. They do something they’re passionate about, document their progress, and eventually build a body of work that’s unique to them.
Take a look at how some of our past student partners built their body of work.

Pedagogy in practice
The word pedagogy refers to ‘how children learn’. At Let’s Enterprise we see young people as adults, capable of learning and growing rapidly independently, given the right support, environment and challenges. Hence, we follow andragogy, which is ‘how adults learn’.
We have designed our curriculum on the following principles:
Flipped classrooms
Instead of 70% based on lectures, our curriculum is 70% based on real-life learning… through case studies, challenges and projects, complemented by 30% classroom learning.
Challenge-based learning
Human beings learn through challenges. Hence our curriculum design moves away from the traditional approach of first providing conceptual knowledge and then giving students problems to solve. Instead, we first throw a challenge at students and then give them the tools that can help them solve.
Effectuation theory
The curriculum design is inspired by the research of Dr Saras Sarasvathy that brings focus to the entrepreneurs themself by asking the questions - Who am I? What do I know? Who do I know? Hence the journey becomes not just of finding market opportunities, but aligning market opportunities with oneself.
Self-reflection
The practice of self-reflection and understanding of one’s strengths, weaknesses and interests is deeply woven into every element of the Let’s Enterprise program. We believe this is of the essence if we are to create a generation of entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs who can make a difference in their environment and yet remain cantered in themselves, and joyful.
Significant learning
The curriculum at Let’s Enterprise is designed using the idea of ‘Significant learning’ developed by Dr. L. Dee Fink, author of ‘Creating Significant Learning Experiences’. The design brings together six different aspects of learning - foundational knowledge, application learning, integration, the human dimension of learning, caring, and learning to learn.
Findings from our insights paper, ‘Cultivating an Entrepreneurial Mindset’
Based on 5 years of data from the Enterprise India Fellowship program, the findings from 3 well-known education reports, and our interviews with industry leaders and professionals, we have designed our curriculum to deliver to the participants… knowledge, skills and abilities.
Making the Magic Happen
We believe that learning and doing are just two sides of the same coin. When students learn to take on responsibilities, they also simultaneously incubate their projects and are in a position to become mentors to other students like themselves. They learn the use of the right tools to collaborate, manage projects and brainstorm, eventually unravelling possibilities to create and innovate.
