Learning from Entrepreneurs : interview with “Dnyanesh Chandewar”

[dropcaps type=’square’ font_size=’80’ color=’#4a4a4a’ background_color=’#ffffff’ border_color=”]I[/dropcaps] am an aspiring entrepreneur and work in my family business with my father.I joined the Enterprise India Fellowship 2 Years back in January 2020 Jan. I was working on different projects and simultaneously grew interest in reading blogs and creating too. I got a question back then that I could relate to myself completely, how do entrepreneurs achieve so much? How did they do it? We only see the good, the rosy and the successful parts of their journey. But just like me, they must have also struggled and failed to turn their ideas into reality. That’s when I decided to interview entrepreneurs and understand what’s beneath the surface, what’s under the water, what’s the hard work they did that we didn’t see. This enabled my curiosity to connect with them and ask questions and write a blog.

The story starts with someone who also shared the importance of how a mentor can shape your mindset in his entrepreneurship journey, “Dnyanesh Chandewar is the founder of Cyber core a service company that helps your business to build a presence online and grow profits. He converted his passion for technology into a business.

  1. Why did you become a tech entrepreneur?

So at the start, it was not a startup, it was just a space of interest that I turned into helping people by making websites for them then I slowly started charging them for my service of making websites. But it was just a source of income for my pocket money. After the 12th it was my first time to leave my hometown and shift completely to start a new life in a new city. This gave me an opportunity to make new connections through my work and I made good friends also. But at this time also I was not knowing the full potential of my skill until I joined a mini MBA type program where I got a mentor Aditya Jhunjhunwala who showed me the true potential of my skills and converted it into a business. That’s how I ended up converting my six-year ago skills into a startup.

2. What is the difference between freelancers and startups?

Solving the problem with your skills individually alone for your customer is freelancing and when you do the same thing with the team is what we call a small enterprise or startup.

3. What is the importance of a mentor in life?

I think people should have at least one mentor in their life. For me, the true definition will elaborate the importance of a mentor in life is, It is the signboard like signal we found on roads that help you to guide to the destination with the right path and avoid taking the wrong one, so you could reach your destination with less wasting energy and time.

4. What is growth for you?

Shifting to a new town for better education is growth for me. Learning from different people by communicating with them is growth for me. One of the main reasons to shift to Pune was, It has better infra in tech than my home town and this is growth for me to be a constant learner and be better every day.
