EIF’s Body of Work Framework: A Guided Introduction to the Credit System
How can young people build their body of work to position themselves for interesting opportunities?
Stories sell - whether we read it in hand written letters, newspapers or now as the world has evolved - from blog posts to emails and social media, books to movies, people relate to stories.
Stories that are well documented via the above mediums have the power to serve as history and shape the trajectory of the world. In personal contexts, they serve as a showcase, a museum of one’s personal story- one’s body of work. This personal museum of one’s body of work can serve as a portfolio of one's Lebensaufgabe (Life’s work) and SWEAT (Stuff, Work, Experiences, Achievement, Tokens), and help create intrinsic motivation as well as attract dream opportunities from like minded people and organizations.
Through working with 63 youth hands on, the Enterprise India Fellowship has developed our innovative credit system- aka a framework to document one’s body of work to help people consolidate the work they do.
This course and the credit system will help students:
1) understand the importance of their body of work
2) get into the practice of documenting their body of work
3) Once having documented their work, students can learn to communicate and share parts of it to attract opportunities interesting to them and use it as a medium to connect with Enterprising people. To zoom into how to attract the right opportunities, you can check out our Storysells Guided Process which is also open and accessible to the world.
