Here’s a question for you: Do you know the Joker who juggles 3 balls in his hands? Have you ever felt that way just in real life, where all you’re doing is juggling different projects and things at the same time? Because if you have, then we are in the same boat.
Don’t get me wrong, I kind of (yes, kind of) like doing that because it helps me level up in real life, but the efforts and the pressure it builds are something else. The projects I worked on pushed both my skills and my patience.
Right now, I’m working through a bunch of projects that seem determined to test every skill I thought I had and a few I didn’t. Just like this week, I found myself staring at a balance sheet, wondering how I ended up in a battle with numbers. Whether it is numbers or cold-calling people to join a game night, it’s been a chaotic ride. And I’m learning that frustration isn’t the end of the story, it’s usually the start of something I didn’t know I could do.
When I step back and look at everything together, I notice a pattern. Every project, whether it’s spreadsheets, research, calls, or something completely new, follows the same cycle: confusion, frustration, curiosity, and then growth. These moments aren’t random anymore; they’re proof that I’m slowly learning to handle more than I thought I could.
And honestly, dealing with all this isn’t as straightforward as it looks on paper. The mix of emotions I go through with every project has been intense, but familiar in a way that almost feels reassuring. Each time, I’ve managed to navigate the frustration without losing control, and that’s shown me I’m stronger and more patient than I thought. Not every project ended the way I hoped, but even in the messier ones, I found something to learn. And somewhere in all of that, I realised that I still genuinely enjoy the work, the challenge, the effort, and the small wins that come with it.
What I want to carry forward from this is the ability to show up even when things aren’t easy. Honestly, that feels like my new superpower. Not flashy, not dramatic, just quietly reliable.
